However, in the fruit markets of the city this same plum is sold for Rs 50 to Rs 60 per kg. But people of Karauli Dang area enjoy this fruit for free for 2 months. For many people, this fruit also becomes a source of income.
This fruit, called plum, is sour and sweet in taste, small in size and grows among thorny bushes. To taste it, people have to compete even with thorns. Its biggest specialty is that it is a fruit which is very much liked by both humans and animals. Some people even say that Lord Ram has also been crazy about this fruit.
Starts growing during rainy days
Rajesh Sharma, a local resident of Dang area, says that this fruit named Ber starts appearing during the rainy season and becomes ripe around Diwali. Both animals and humans eat it. He says that in our Dang area this fruit is the apple of the forests. In cities this fruit is available at a price of 50 to 60 rupees but in Dang area of Karauli this fruit is available absolutely free for 2 months.
Lord Ram also ate this fruit in Shabari’s ashram.
Rajesh Sharma told that Lord Ram had also tasted the same fruit named Ber in the ashram of Shabari. Whose taste is sweet and sour. He told that in our Dang area this fruit called hatred grows automatically. This fruit is produced in large quantities in the forests during the winter season without sowing seeds.
Sharma told that due to the huge arrival of this fruit in our Dang area, it has no value. During these two months, this berry is available in such abundance in Dang area that everyone enjoys it for free. It definitely hurts a bit to break it due to the presence of thorns, but as soon as one sees it, a desire to eat it arises in people’s mind.

This fruit is helpful in strengthening immunity. He says that due to fiber being found in good quantity, it reduces obesity and being rich in vitamins also enhances the screen.
